Two guys. One ASSAGGIO.
A neighbourhood bistrot in the historic centre of Merano.
Open for lunch and dinner.

Korab. Also known as Corrado, because apparently nobody can pronounce his name. Or simply Mr. Assaggio. He answers to pretty much anything, as long as you're hungry!
He knows his flavours, loves his people and has a special talent for turning strangers into regulars.

Then there's Michael. A creative mind that never stops, an endless source of ideas and a slight obsession with every little detail. Sometimes a little too much. And trust us, he's only getting started. There's plenty more to come.

Korab makes sure it tastes right.
Michael makes sure it feels right.

A taste of childhood.
A sip of something new.

Just two dishes at a time, changing every week. Simple recipes, good ingredients and a little curiosity. Because we believe you don't need a hundred choices to find something wonderful.
Remember the food your mum used to make? Nothing fancy. Just simple things, made with love, that somehow tasted better than anything else. That's where we take our inspiration.

And the wines? Forget the usual suspects. We love the unexpected, the small producers, the bottles with a story to tell. Some you've probably never heard of.
Don't worry. Korab knows a thing or two. Let him surprise you.
